New to Line Dance? Come learn the basics with easy, step-by-step instruction! You'll dance to a wide mix of music—from Old Standards and Country to Latin, Rock-n-Roll, Hip Hop, and today’s top hits. Along the way, you'll get familiar with the unique vocabulary and signature moves of Line Dance, all while boosting your balance, footwork, cardio health, and stamina.
June 30th 11-12 This Mad Science Monday, we’re experimenting with Walking Water and Clouds in a Jar. These experiments will be water-filled and colorful! Come see color in motion. Perfect for kids ages 6–12.
Monday, June 2nd 2-4 PM Join us at the Chatham Library for an afternoon of fun! Celebrate the first day of the Summer Reading Program with games, activities, music and more!
Tuesday, June 3rd 11:00 – 12:00 Join us for a rock painting program at the library. Each participant will decorate a colorful rock to add to our growing rock snake, Dewey Booker, who lives just outside the library. All ages are welcome!
Wednesdays, June 4th & June 18th 10:30 – 11:30! Join us for a fun-filled Family Storytime! Enjoy stories, songs, and interactive activities, and a craft. Bring the whole family!
Thursday, June 5th 1-2 PM Caution! This could get messy! Use cardboard to swipe paint across paper and make colorful and abstract creations! No brushes – just fun! Wear clothes that can get messy!
Friday, June 6th, at 11am We will be showing the movie Mufasa! PG. Those attending will enter a drawing to win a copy of the film at the end. Light refreshments will be served.
June 7th, 11:00 am Patrons of all ages are welcome to join us for a morning of Bingo. Win a game, pick a book as your prize!
Monday, June 9th 11 – 12 Prepare yourself for an explosion of color at the Chatham Library! Come see science in action, and create some pretty cool artwork too! Recommended for ages 6 & up.
Tuesday, June 10th 2-3 Stressed? Don’t be! Come make your very own stress ball balloon buddy using household items! If you’re looking for a tool to de-stress, or just love making cool crafts this squishy program is for you! Great for kids ages 6 and up!
Wednesday June 11th 10:30 -11:30 Get ready for a bubbly good time at this special outdoor (weather permitting) drop-in storytime event! We’ll start with stories and songs, then enjoy bubble activities and bubble art. This program is perfect for little ones who love to move, create, and of course pop bubbles! Recommended for ages 0-7.

Thursday, June 12th 3-4 PM Teens are invited to try out virtual reality painting using our VR headset and a 3D painting app. Create like never before, and become part of the art itself! Perfect for ages 12-18!
Friday June 13th & 27th 3:00-4:30 PM On the second and fourth Friday each month, children are invited to practice their reading skills by sharing a book with a furry friend. Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities as well as help with emotional and social skills. Monday, June 16th, all day While supplies last, take home an Ice Cream Card Cricut craft kit! This card is super easy to assemble and great for beginners! Craft kits are for teens and adults. Limit 2 per person. Everything is provided except the glue and optional extras. Instructions for the video are included in the kit.
Monday, June 16th 11-12 Join us for Mad Science Monday: Lava Lamps! Create a swirling, bubbling lava lamp effect — and learn a little about density and chemical reactions along the way!
