October 1st You can pick up a cardboard house to decorate (one per family). Return decorated house no later than Saturday, October 12. Voting will start on Tuesday, October 15 to October 30. Winner will be announced on October 31.
Celebrate Smokey’s 80th Birthday by joining the Smokey Bear Reading Challenge. Join Smokey in learning about wildfire prevention and the environment. Read books, take action, and have fun!
Meet with other needle crafters while you work on your own projects
Baby Tales is an interactive literacy program designed for children ages 0-24 months. Children and caregivers are introduced to the basic building blocks of literacy through nursery rhymes, stories, finger plays, and music in a fun and educational environment. Programs may include time for unstructured play and socialization.
All ages can join us to make “Paper Chain Pythons”.
Program for grades 6-12. Bring a friend and join us for a variety of creative and STEAM inspired fun including arts, crafts and other activities.
Gretna Middle School students are invited to celebrate Teentober at the library with fun evening of learning about library resources, a scavenger hunt and other activities.
