We are going to be working on a new trend here at Chatham Library this summer – A Granny Square Book Blanket! Crochet granny squares to match the cover of every book you read this year and put them together until you form a blanket.

Don’t know how to crochet a granny square? We’re teaching ourselves via video. Ex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzhZI8e8o9U We will meet once per month to crochet and hopefully we each will have a beautiful blanket to show off.

Our first meet-up will be Monday, June 11th starting at 4 pm. Bring along some yarn that matches your book cover and a crochet hook!
