  • Needles & Such – Every Tuesday at 10:00. Join us for crochet, knitting, beading, or hand embroidery with friends. Bring your own projects to work on.
  • Tai Chi – Every Monday at 5:00pm and Friday at 9:30am. Join Francina as she teaches the art of Tia Chi. This program will focus on fall prevention and arthritis.
  • Beginner Crochet- June 9 & 23,  7/7 & 7/21, 5:30pm- Learn the basics of crochet! This is a ‘learn at your own pace’ class for all ages.
  • Herbology 101- June 4^th at 11:00am or 5:30pm. This is a closed session class. Please contact library staff if you are interested in joining the next session!
  • Outdoor Movie- June 12^th, 8:30pm- Join us to watch Jurassic Park on the outdoor movie screen! Popcorn and drinks will be provided. This is a public space with picnic tables as well as grass, so feel free to bring chairs or a blanket. Intended for ages 13+.
  • Cricut Craft- June 18^th, 6:00pm- Bring a blank T-Shirt and join us to create fun Cricut T-Shirt designs!
  • Pipe Cleaner Florals- 7/16, 11:00am or 6:00pm
    Come create a bouquet of flowers using pipe cleaners. We will learn step by step how to make different flowers.
  • 3D Print Workshop- 7/16, 4:00pm
  • Adult Book Club- 7/23, 6:00pm
    Be a part of our Book Club as we discuss this month’s book.  Light refreshments will be served.
  • Read Around-7/28 2:00pm-7:00pm
    Find a comfortable spot around the library and read! That’s it- no socializing necessary! Just sign in, receive a “Book Lover” goodie bag and find a spot to read.

  • Computer 1-on1 – Monday-Wednesday, 5:00-7:30 pm, Saturday, 10:00 am-1:00 pm
    Need specific assistance or have a basic computer question? 30-minute session per patron; first come, first serve. Disclaimer: Library staff can only offer basic assistance. We are not able to troubleshoot/repair malfunctioning or broken hardware, software, or devices.
  • Bridge – Tuesdays, 9:30 am
    Perk up your Tuesday mornings at the Chatham Library and join us for a game of Bridge! No registration is required.
  • Mahjong – Thursdays, 1-4:00 pm
    Come play Mahjong at the library every Thursday from 1:00-4:00 pm. Mahjong is a fascinating rummy-like game you play with tiles rather than cards.

  • Mini Canvas Art Contest begins Monday, June 8 and the last day to return Mini Canvas Art Paintings is Friday, June 18
    Our mini canvas art contest is a community engagement program where patrons receive a free, small canvas (3x3) to create a masterpiece.  Patrons are given choice to take home a canvas to paint or attend one of our mini canvas painting sessions.
  • Public Voting for Mini Canvas Art begins Monday, June 22 and ends Friday, July 10
    Stop in to the Gretna Branch Library to vote for your favorite mini art canvas. One vote per person.
