Pittsylvania County Library

Summer Reading Program

New to PCPL Summer reading? No problem!

It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1 Choose your reading log by age
Pittsylvania County Public Library Summer Reading is divided into four age groups: Early Literacy age 0-5, Kids age 6-11, Teens age 12-17, and adults age 18+.
Reading logs may be requested at your local branch or printed from these links: Early Literacy age 0-5, Kids age 6-11, Teens age 12-17.

Step 2 Read and record
Use your reading log to record the books you read from June 1-July 31. You can read library books, books you already own, audiobooks, graphic novels, any books you can get your hands on! There is no limit to the number of reading logs you can complete!

Step 3 Return your reading logs
Return all reading logs to your local PCPL branch library by July 31 and you will be entered to win prizes! (The prizes will vary by branch but the values are the same throughout the PCPL system)
